By Chaudhary Asghar Ali
1. What Channel Studio is
Channel Studio is a private tool for the owner's own YouTube channels and Facebook Pages. It runs on the owner's own computer. It is not a public service: it is not offered to anyone else, and it only accesses accounts owned by Chaudhary Asghar Ali.
2. Data accessed
Channel Studio uses:
- The YouTube Data API to upload videos, set thumbnails, and read channel and video statistics.
- The YouTube Analytics API to read watch time.
- Facebook Page data to post videos and read followers and views.
Access is only granted by the account owner, through Google's and Facebook's own sign-in and consent screens.
3. Use and storage
This data is used only to publish the owner's videos and to show the owner their own statistics. Access tokens and statistics are stored only on the owner's computer. They are never sold, never shared with third parties and never used for advertising.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
Channel Studio's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. YouTube API Services
Channel Studio uses YouTube API Services. They are used under the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. How to revoke access
- Google and YouTube: remove Channel Studio from your Google account permissions at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Facebook: remove Channel Studio in Facebook's Business Integrations settings.
When access is revoked, Channel Studio deletes its stored tokens.
